Texture

I stumbled on this great photography blog called I heart faces.
Since I have always loved photography but am quite the amateur, I hope to be able to learn from these folks. There is a weekly challenge. This week is Texture. You can check out some amazing photos from folks by clicking on the "Mr. Linky" on the bottom of their site. Soooo... here is my submission.

This was taken yesterday afternoon.
I love the contrasts of black and white, wet and dry,
along with softness of the sweater against the roughness of the concrete.

Hi Laureen! How cool is it that we both live in Jacksonville & we both have 4 year olds!?! Your comment gave me a rush too :)

Lovely Isabel looks like my Chinese-American granddaughter Sara May who graces the front cover of my new book Toad Cottages & Shooting Stars. Also my grandson Moses John is featured. It is important to me to give my grands books to which they can relate.

What could ever be better than the smiling face of a healthy child? I love them.

Keep up your great, great mothering.
